Today at 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC the No. 8 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (8-1, 5-0) will hit the road following a rousing win over the Michigan State Spartans to Minneapolis where the newly-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers (7-2, 4-1) await. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said that he won't have to worry about his players dwelling on their big win over the Spartans because of the quality coaching present in his locker room.

"The good thing is I've got nine good coaches and, more importantly, I have players that understand we didn't play as well as we could on defense and we expect to play much better," Meyer said. "There's plenty to work on."

Preparing for Minnesota means prepping for the run. They have rushed for 285 yards or more in three straight games, but also feature a dominant weapon in the passing game, tight end Maxx Williams.

"He is unreal. I've coached this game for 31 years and I've coached a lot of great players, but I have never seen anybody catch the ball like that kid does," Gophers coach Jerry Kill raved. "If you get it close to him, he's going to find a way to catch it. He's unbelievable."

The question is whether Williams and the potent running game can keep Ohio State's offense off the field enough to limit their scoring opportunities. They have scored 46 points per game this year despite losing preseason Heisman Trophy candidate Braxton Miller. His replacement, J.T. Barrett, has thrown for 2,156 yards and 26 touchdowns in Miller's stead while rushing for 582 yards and eight more scores.
