NEW YORK YANKEES vs COLORADO ROCKIES Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from COORS FIELD DENVER

The New York Yankees and Colorado Rockies will meet in a matinee rubber match of their three-game interleague series today at 3:05 p.m. at Coors Field. The game will be broadcast by YES Network as well as ROOT Sports, but can be live streamed for free by clicking this link or for a subscription fee here. Yankees fans can tune into WCBS 880 to listen to the action while Rockies fans should turn their dial to KOA 850.

The Yankees got some late heroics from pinch-hitting outfielder Brennan Boesch Wednesday night, who reached first base on a bases-loaded infield single that drove in the game winning run.

The MVP of the night though had to be Vernon Wells, who belted a two-run home run in the first inning that allowed the Yankees to take an early 2-0 lead. He also was pressed into emergency service at third base later in the game, and managed to  range to his left on one occasion and throw a runner out at first base.

Wells had never played third base before and said after the game, "That was one of the cooler moments of my career."

Despite Coors Field generally being a hitter's haven, this series has been about hot pitchers and quiet bats. The two teams have combined to score just seven runs in the series on 22 hits. Today's day game pits Yankees ace CC Sabathia (4-3, 3.31 ERA) against Jeff Francis (1-2, 7.17 ERA), in what appears to be a mismatch on paper.

However, the Yankees offense, heavy on left-handed hitting, has struggled to deal with southpaws in 2013. As a team the Yankees are hitting just .215 against lefties, with 12 home runs and 39 RBI in 456 plate appearances. The Bronx Bombers have hit .278 against righties.

Francis has just one career start against the Yankees; he pitched seven innings, gave up five hits, one earned run, and struck out nine while getting a win.
