The hometown crowd is expected to turn out in droves for star performers Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, the latter of whom became only the third player in history to score a hundred and take 10 wickets in the same test.
Their teammate Mushfiqur Rahim acknowledged the uniqueness of the squad's position in the Test, but was admanent they still have work to do. "It is a rare feeling to be playing with 2-0 up in a Test series," he said. "But in reality, this will be our toughest Test."
Zimbabwe for their part have no intention of going gently. "Obviously [we would] go all out for the win and go out for the one-dayers," claims batsman Hamilton Masakadza said. "We haven't really won a Test match in Bangladesh for a long time. So that will be something we will be looking forward to. It is obviously one of our aims to win this last one and end up 2-1 and get into the one-day series with a little bit of momentum."
