Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, the Vancouver Canucks (9-4-0, 18 points) and the San Jose Sharks (7-4-2, 16 points) take the ice for the first of five meetings this season live from the SAP Center in San Jose. The game can be live streamed here. Vancouver fans can hear all of the action by tuning their radios to Team 1040 while San Jose fans can do the same on 98.5 FM K-FOX.

Vancouver looks for its second straight victory in Game 2 of its four-game road trip while San Jose is also in search of its second consecutive win as it closes out a two-match home stand. The Sharks took three of four games from the Canucks last season.

The Canucks have won five of six games and hope to get a boost from the return of Alexandre Burrows, who was suspended three games for a late hit in a game against the Montreal Canadiens.

"I'm really excited to get back at it, join the boys [Thursday] in San Jose," Burrows said Wednesday, according to NHL.com. "It should be fun, especially the way they played [Tuesday] night."

Vancouver is coming off of a 5-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday that saw Nick Bonino notch two goals in the triumph.

The Sedin twins have continued to lead the Canucks' offense as Henrik Sedin has 14 points off of five goals and nine assists while Daniel Sedin has three tallies and 10 helpers for 13 points. Radim Vrbata has lit the lamp five times and added seven assists to rank third on the team with 12 points.

The Sharks are 3-0-1 in their past four games and have been idle since their 3-1 win over the New York Islanders on Saturday. Logan Couture notched his team-best sixth goal of the season in the win.

"That was a big win for us," Couture told NHL.com afterward. "We hadn't played very well at home other than our first game. It's good to win at home after a long road trip. Now we have a couple of days to rest and get ready for Vancouver."

Couture is tied with Patrick Marleau (four makers, eight helpers) with 12 points off of the six goals and six assists. Brent Burns leads the team with 13 points by way of finding the twine four times and adding nine assists.

In between the pipes, San Jose is slated to go with Antti Niemi, who is 6-2-1 with a 2.49 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage.

Vancouver will likely counter with Ryan Miller in the crease tonight and the backstop is an impressive 9-1-0 this season with a 2.21 GAA and a .917 save percentage.

Both teams search for their second straight victory when the lights come up on the Canucks and Sharks at the SAP Center tonight in San Jose.
