Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN the unbeaten Golden State Warriors (3-0) will host the Los Angeles Clippers (3-1) at ORACLE Arena in a Western Conference matchup that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Clippers fans can listen to the radio broadcast on KFWB 980, while Warriors fans may do likewise on KNBR 680.
The Warriors are off to a hot start under new head coach Steve Kerr, despite not having David Lee for this stretch and replacing Andre Iguodala in the starting five with Harrison Barnes. Point guard Stephen Curry said the quick start is a testament to the character on the roster.
"It says a lot about the guys we have on this team from top to bottom that no matter what situation you're thrown into that you can somehow produce and allow things to happen," Curry said. While Curry has put up his typical, elite production, his backcourt mate Klay Thompson has exploded.
Thompson is averaging 29.7 points on 53 percent shooting from the field, including a 45 percent mark from beyond the arc. That duo has helped Golden State to an average of 105 points a night, while Thompson's defense has helped them limit opponents to 90 points.
The Clippers are also hot, and point guard Chris Paul is fresh off his first triple-double in Los Angeles. He wants the Clips to keep the pedal to the metal despite how early in the season it is.
"We can't relax," Paul told the team's official website. "We have to get that killer mentality, and we have to put teams away. Teams are way too good in this league, especially now, and they aren't going to give up. If we keep doing what we're doing, they're always going to feel like they can get back in the game."
