Many a fantasy football championship has been won with the waiver wire. Following Week 9 action, these are the names that should be on owners' radars going forward. And fear not if your waiver priority is low-we have some sneaky pickups for you as well.

Quarterbacks

Mark Sanchez, Philadelphia Eagles

Sanchez relieved starter Nick Foles after he went down with a collarbone injury and completed 15-of-22 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns. Sanchez also threw two interceptions, but one of them came on a tipped ball that was well-thrown.

Jeremy Maclin has emerged as a true No.1 receiver in Chip Kelly's offense, so Sanchez has something he never did as the Jets QB. If Foles misses significant time, Sanchez will be a viable starter, especially with three straight shaky defenses coming up on the schedule.

DEEP OPTION: Michael Vick, New York Jets

Vick didn't fall on his face on Sunday in Kansas City, throwing for one touchdown and no interceptions. The yardage was meager (196 yards), but he secured his starting spot, and also rushed four times for 18 yards. Vick is always going to run, and that's his value for as long as he's starting.

Running Backs

Alfred Blue, Houston Texans

Texans running back Arian Foster left Sunday's game vs. the Eagles with a groin injury, and showed a lot of frustration upon exiting. It's not clear how much time Foster will miss, but Blue is the clear replacement if he is out. He hasn't performed very well when given opportunities, so counting on him as an RB1 in Foster's absence is unwise. Continue to look for other options, including trades.

Daniel Thomas, Miami Dolphins

Lamar Miller left Sunday's game with a shoulder injury, and although he claims he'll be ready to go, grabbing Daniel Thomas isn't a bad call. He is not an exciting player to own, and may get out-touched by Damien Williams if Miller's not playing, but Thomas remains the goal-line hammer. Take the TDs if Miller isn't in.

DEEP OPTION: Toby Gerhart, Jacksonville Jaguars

Gerhart was left for dead (rightfully) weeks ago by most owners, but he experienced a bit of a resurgence on Sunday. He got just three carries on Thursday and picked up only 19 yards, but one of them was a 13-yard rush that included multiple broken tackles. It was the type of run that the Jags envisioned when they signed him, and an injury scare for Denard Robinson may have reminded them he isn't necessarily built for a full workload. Gerhart can still be a goal line option here, and may get more touches going forward. He's a speculative add.

Wide Receivers

DEEP OPTION: Andre Caldwell, Denver Broncos

Wes Welker left Sunday's game with a back injury, and while he might be ready to play in Week 10, he's a ticking injury time bomb. If Welker misses time, Caldwell is the next man up He's certainly no stud, but in this offense he will get his looks and might even have some monster games depending on what defenses try to take away from Peyton Manning.

Tight Ends

Charles Clay, Miami Dolphins

It may be that time of year again where Charles Clay starts heating up. He got a season-high eight targets from a sizzling Ryan Tannehill, catching five passes for 65 yards and a score. Clay isn't going to be an elite guy at any point, but when the Dolphins are in a groove (which they are right now) he's similar to Delanie Walker.
