Two clubs in opposite halves of the Bundesliga table will do battle today in a league match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. The German clasico scheduled for 1 p.m. ET will be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich and can be live streamed here. Additional TV coverage can be found on GolTV.
What They’re Saying
Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola (via Goal): "We learned our lessons from the 0-0 draw in Hamburg a few weeks ago. We knew we had to play fast and put pressure on them early on. In the [German] cup, it's easy for you as a coach because you know [that if] you lose, you're out. But from the very beginning, we played very well and then got the first goal by Robert [Lewandowski]. Now, we regenerate and think about our next opponent [Borussia Dortmund]."
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp (via the Daily Mail): “In our current position, where this [talk of Marco Reus] causes relatively little enjoyment, it is just not worth [mentioning]; however, I believe that life is fair. Whoever behaves badly while they succeed, can get payback later. We currently do not have the problem of having to behave well during a period of success, because we are not in one.”
