Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the Anaheim Ducks (8-2-0, 16 points) and St. Louis Blues (4-3-1, nine points) take the ice for the first of three meetings against each other live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The game can be live streamed here. Anaheim fans can hear all of the action on KLAA 830 while St. Louis fans can do the same on KMOX 1120.

Anaheim has won eight of its first 10 games and sits atop the Western Conference while St. Louis has won back-to-back games and will look for a third consecutive victory tonight.

The Ducks are coming off of a 1-0 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday and were lifted by a shorthanded goal from Devante Smith-Pelly.

Following a 4-1 loss to the rival San Jose Sharks Sunday, Smith-Pelly was happy to help Anaheim bounce back.

"Obviously after Sunday we weren't too thrilled with how we played and we wanted to redeem ourselves," Smith-Pelly said via NHL.com. "This is a good team to come out and have a great game against. It's a top team, so it was good to get back out there and get a win."

Ducks forward Corey Perry is tied for the league lead with nine goals and ranks fourth with 12 points while Ryan Getzlaf is fourth in the NHL with nine assists and also has 12 points thus far this season.

The Blues are coming off of a 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, but they come in with a lot of injuries.

With Paul Stastny (shoulder) already out, St. Louis lost David Backes and T.J. Oshie to concussions during Tuesday's match.

"Backes is concussed, out. Oshie's concussed, out," Blues coach Ken Hitchcock told NHL.com. "Some seasons are smooth and some seasons are scrambles. We're in scramble mode."

Vladimir Tarasenko was a huge reason for the Blues win last time out, notching a hat trick and increasing his team-best point total to nine off of four goals and five assists.

Jaden Schwartz (five tallies, three helpers) and Kevin Shattenkirk (one goal, seven assists) each have eight points for the Blues this season to rank second on the team.

The Blues will likely face an Anaheim goalie fresh off of a 38-save shutout against the Blackhawks as John Gibson is slated to play between the pipes. Gibson is 2-1-0 with a 2.33 goals-against average and .926 save percentage this season.

St. Louis will likely counter with Jake Allen, who has split his first two starts while yielding four goals on 47 shots.

The Ducks look to continue their solid start to the campaign while the Blues shoot for their third straight win live tonight from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
