The WWE wasted no time transitioning from Sunday's Hell in a Cell event to next month's Survivor Series pay-per-view, as it was announced on Monday Night RAW that John Cena will captain a traditional Survivor Series team against a team led by The Authority.

In the main even for RAW, Cena defeated Seth Rollins by disqualification after Kane ran in an interfered to bail Rollins out when he was he locked in the STF. Kane and Rollins attacked Cena after the match and Dolph Ziggler made the save. The entire RAW locker room then poured out and brawled to end the show.

Cena turned down an offer by The Authority to join them, which led to Triple H announcing the traditional Survivor Series match. Cena later asked Ziggler to join his team.

Kane was in action earlier in the show and lost to Ziggler via a roll up.

The show opened with The Authority praising Seth Rollins for defeating Dean Ambrose at Hell in a Cell. Randy Orton then interrupted and was angry about The Authority praising Rollins. Triple H got angry and gave Orton the night off and he hit Rollins with the RKO before storming off.

There were two title matches on the show as well.

Goldust and Stardust defeated Mark Henry and The Big Show to retain the Tag Team Championships after Henry hit the World's Strongest Slam on Big Show, allowing Stardust to get the pin.

Elsewhere, AJ Lee retained her Divas Championship against Alicia Fox after Paige caused a distraction. Paige then attacked Fox after the match.

Another Divas match occurred on the show as Nikki Bella defeated Naomi with the Rack Attack while forcing Brie Bella to help her out.

In other action, The Usos defeated The Miz and Damien Sandow, Ryback returned and defeated Bo Dallas and Dean Ambrose attacked Cesaro while looking for Bray Wyatt, causing their match to never get going. Wyatt then appeared on the big screen and cut a promo on Ambrose, telling him to run.

This edition of Monday Night RAW hashed through the fallout of Hell in a Cell and started the build to Survivor Series as the main event was made..
