With superstar Kevin Durant sidelined for at least the first six weeks of the season, things might be rough for the Oklahoma City Thunder early on. So as the start of the 2014-15 NBA season looms, Thunder players decided to have some fun by celebrating Halloween early.

Five Memorable Assists from Steve Nash's NBA Career

The players attended a Halloween party over the weekend and went all out with some pretty impressive costumes. Star point guard Russell Westbrook had probably the best costume, dressing up as "Pornstache" from the hit Netflix series Orange is the New Black.

Nick Collison and Andre Roberson teamed up and wore classic Ghostbusters outfits. Steven Adams went with Tom Hanks' character from the classic movie Cast Away, complete with volleyball companion "Wilson." Lance Thomas dressed up as Finn from the Cartoon Network series Adventure Time. Rookie Mitch McGary went with Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, though he loses points because that movie is over two years old and that costume has already been overused.

Durant, the reigning NBA MVP, is expected to miss six to eight weeks while recovering from the Jones fracture, which is a small break at the base of his small toe. He averaged 32 points, 7.4 rebounds and a career-high 5.5 assists last season.

Durant recently voiced his displeasure at being ranked No. 8 this year in ESPN's list of 500 NBA players, down six spots from his No. 2 ranking last season.
