What They’re Saying
United States defender Meghan Klingenberg (via ESPNW): “I frigging love Tobin [Heath]. She's so technically sound and smart about the game that for me, it makes it easy. And so I know as long as I'm giving her good support, she's going to make a good decision with the ball. And whenever I have the ball, she's going to give me a good angle in support. I think we work together really well."
United States head coach Jillian Ellis: "I didn't have a lot of familiarity with [Klingenberg]. I never questioned her ability to get forward. But I wanted to see more out of her as far as defensively, what she can do one-on-one, and now I've seen both sides of the ball. She's been fantastic and just offers us a whole lot coming up that left side."
