Eibar manager Gaizka Garitano had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via Inside Spanish Football): "More than us just going there to play a game, we're going there to compete. We've waited 75 years to play this game and it's an opportunity we must make the most of. Before we get on the plane, we can't allow ourselves to think of defeat. There's three points to play for and it's a lovely game for us to be playing in."
"Whilst we might not have much of a chance—and this isn't a marketing stunt—I'm optimistic," he added. "These players of mine have done a great deal. I think we can achieve something nice there, but all I need now is for the players to believe in that too."
