Tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET undefeated WBA and IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (32-0-0, 27 KO) will step in the ring against Marco Antonio Rubio (59-6-1, 51 KO) on HBO, in a title fight that can be live streamed by clicking this link.

Golovkin will be making his first appearance at the Stubhub Center in California, where fight organizers added bleacher seating to keep up with the demand. Golovkin enters the fight with a 90 percent knockout rate for his career, and has knocked out 17 consecutive opponents.

Rubio has won his last six bouts, and has never been knocked out in his career.

Golovkin has hyped up his "Mexican style" of fighting in the buildup to this bout; in fact, the name of the event is Mexican Style. Golovkin's power and aggressive approach in the ring has gained him greater popularity each time out. "This is my first fight in California and this is for the people, so thank you to my fans. People love my style. It's like Mexican style," Golovkin said.

While Golovkin is a technically sound fighter, his acclaim comes from his punching power. In his most recent bout he knocked out Daniel Geale in under three rounds, the final blow coming on a right hand he threw off balance after Geale had landed a shot cleanly.

GGG knows the importance of that fearsome reputation, and makes no secret that he is gunning to finish his opponents in under 12 rounds.

"A knockout is very important to me," said Golovkin. "I know how important it is for me and my team. I understand my situation. People like knockouts. I like knockouts. This is boxing so I want a knockout. It's very important for me. I like big drama show. I like knockouts."

Prediction: Golovkin def. Rubio by TKO in Round 6.
