Los Angeles Clippers basketball player Matt Barnes may have at least 150,000 reasons to be headed for divorce court with estranged wife Gloria Govan.

TMZ.com reported on Thursday that Govan was said to have forged Barnes' signature on a $150,000 loan she took out.

According to TMZ, Govan, an actress and a regular on "Basketball Wives LA," approached Nina Rawls about borrowing money in March for a television project produced by the production company that Gloria and Matt own, according to a lawsuit that TMZ obtained.

Rawls, the widow of the late singer, Lou Rawls, said she agreed to loan the $150,000 to Govan on the stipulation that Govan pay back the loan in full within two months.

After the two months had expired, Govan had not repaid the debt. Nina Rawls claimed that Govan admitted to her that she forged Barnes' signature on the loan documents. TMZ stated that it was uncertain whether Barnes ever had any idea that Govan was borrowing money from Rawls. TMZ reports that sources told the news source that Barnes was completely in the dark.

Rawls is suing for repayment of the $150,000 plus damages. TMZ reached out to representative for Barnes and Govan but did not get a response.

TMZ originally reported earlier in the week that Barnes and Govan had split because of "trust issues," its sources said.

The couple was married in 2012 and are the parents of 5-year-old twin boys. According to TMZ, Barnes has not posted a photo of Govan on his Instagram account in months, and Govan has not been photographed with her wedding ring on since late August.

The 34-year-old Barnes is in the second year of a three-year, $10 million deal with the Clippers. He is a 12-year NBA veteran.
