Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, the St. Louis Blues (1-1-0, two points) and Los Angeles Kings (2-1-1, five points) faceoff live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the first of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. St. Louis fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action by turning their dials to KMOX 1120 while Los Angeles fans can do the same on KTLK 1150.

St. Louis has had four days off after picking up its first win of the season against the Calgary Flames while Los Angeles has won two straight matches heading into tonight.

The Blues are playing three games in four nights, which caused coach Ken Hitchcock to cancel an on-ice skate Wednesday.

"Skating four days in a row doesn't usually wash well when you're going to play three in four," Hitchcock told the St. Louis Post Dispatch. "This is also a team that really responds to time away from the rink. They respond in a very positive way. The last two practices have been demanding, and today gives them a chance to catch their breath."

The Kings line of Tanner Pearson, Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli has been instrumental in the team's success as they are the top three scorers so far this season for Los Angeles.

Pearson has six points off of four goals and two assists while Carter has three tallies and two helpers for five points and Toffoli has found the twine twice and added three helpers for five points as well.

"They're scoring goals in different ways, contributing opportunities in different ways, which at the end of the day in this league, that's what it's about," coach Daryl Sutter told the Kings website.

For the Blues, Paul Stastny has gotten acclimated pretty quickly with his new team, leading the charge with four points off of a goal and three assists while Jaden Schwartz has a marker and two helpers for three points and Kevin Shattenkirk also has three points all off of assists.

Brian Elliott is slated to suit up for St. Louis and is 1-1 in two starts while allowing four goals on 49 shots. Los Angeles counters with Jonathan Quick, who is 1-1-1 and has yielded eight tallies on 99 shots.

The Blues and the Kings continue their 2014-15 campaigns when they take the ice tonight live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
