Desperate to bolster their attack, Juventus are preparing a shock bid for Real Madrid striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez (via the Daily Star). Per the reports, the Italian outfit remains interested in the 26-year-old, having seen him struggle for minutes behind his French counterpart, Karim Benzema.

Hernandez landed in the Spanish capital on a season-long loan from Manchester United, and still has two years remaining on his contract. That, coupled with a hefty price tag, make any deal difficult for the Serie A champions.
Real Madrid have the option to keep the Mexican international, but given Carlo Ancelotti's propensity to keep him sidelined, it is unclear if the club will commit to the switch. Hernandez, however, remains committed to the shirt he currently dons. "To play for Real Madrid is the first miracle in my life," he said. "People who know me, know that I think like this. I'm going to give blood, sweat and tears for this shirt."

Hernandez enjoyed a successful spell with Mexico during the recent international break, providing the team a goal in a 2-0 victory over Honduras and prompting praise from head coach Miguel Herrera. "I see him well and very happy," Herrera said (via El Nuevo Herald). "I think his move [to Real Madrid] has benefited him."
"He's always had great motivation, but I see him with more ambition and desire," he added. "The most important thing is not that he's a starter, it's that he gives me a reason to be with the national team."
It will be difficult for Hernandez to do so from the bench, making any interest from Juventus worth consideration.
