The chase for the 2016 European Cup will take its next step on Sunday. Two teams attempting to qualify for the tournament will do battle in a match between Sweden and Lichtenstein. The contest scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET will be held at the Friends Arena in Solna and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Fox Sports 2.
Sweden head coach Erik Hamren had this to offer following the team's 1-1 draw with Russia on Thursday (via UEFA): "We started very well and their goal felt like a punch in the stomach. I'm proud that we could come back, even if we missed the penalty. But in the last 20 minutes, the players lacked energy. For example, Mikael Antonsson wanted to be substituted, but we gave him some bananas and energy and he could continue. I think Antonsson and Andreas Granqvist performed very well staving off their attacks. Up front, I want to give credit to Jimmy Durmaz, both when he won the penalty and the assist shows his ability."
"I understand it's better to win one and lose one compared with having two points," he added. "But on the other hand, our opponents didn't win either. The fact that Austria beat Moldova and Montenegro drew with Liechtenstein shows there are no easy games at all."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Johan Elmander made a brief appearance in Thursday's draw. The 33-year-old will look to fill the role left vacated by an injury to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Sweden's Projected Lineup (4-2-3-1): Isaksson; Antonsson, Granqvist, M. Olsson, Bengtsson; Kacaniklic, S. Larsson, Wernbloom, Durmaz, Zengin; Elmander
