No. 18 UCLA Bruins (4-1, 1-1 Pac-12)

In a matchup that would have been much better last week, the No. 12 Oregon Ducks face off against the No. 18 UCLA Bruins in a game where one team will go on a two-game losing streak.

Both the Ducks and the Bruins are coming off bad upset losses to No. 10 Arizona and No. 24 Utah, respectively. Both loses have cost the teams their hoes of an undefeated season and also threw a wrench in their hopes of winning the Pac-12.

UCLA coach Jim Mora spoke about the loss and said it comes down to protecting the quarterback and that is something the Bruins didn’t do in their loss.

"I'll say it again and until the day that I die or get out of football. Sacks are a component of all 11 (players)," coach Jim Mora said. "Sometimes it's a rush, sometimes you get beat, and sometimes the quarterback holds it for too long. It's a function of all of those things.

"It doesn't matter if it was the offense, the defense, special teams or the coaching. We have to figure out why. We have to push on from here.”

A win in this game will vault either team back into the thick of the college football playoff race, but a loss will likely end their bid. The Pac-12 is as open as it has ever been and either of these teams could end up on top regardless of the results this Saturday.

UCLA leads the all-time series against Oregon 38-27, but the Ducks are riding a five-game winning streak that could continue on Saturday.
