Former mixed martial artist Jason Miller was arrested on Wednesday, but not before standoff with police that involved a SWAT team and him refusing to leave his house. To make matters worse, “Mayhem” live-tweeted the entire incident.

Miller is no stranger to run-ins with the law, having been arrested numerous times before. He began tweeting from his Mission Viejo, Calif. home at 11:12 a.m. PT, describing everything about the situation from what the police were doing to the emotional state of his dog. He also even posted his address and invited other people to come and watch the incident unfold.

According to Miller, a “regiment of wanna be soldiers” showed up at his house attempting to serve a warrant for his arrest. A report by KTLA.com confirmed that the Orange County Sheriff’s Department was on the scene and called in SWAT assistance when Miller barricaded himself inside his house.

“He retreated into the house, was uncooperative with any of the commands by sheriff’s deputies, and based on that, we established a perimeter, called out the SWAT team and now we’re in the process of establishing communication with him inside the house,” Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Jeff Hallock told KTLA.com.

The KTLA report said the Sheriff’s Department was attempting to serve an arrest warrant for “alleged stalking at the home.” Miller’s tweets, though unclear, suggest it had something to do with a missed court appearance in a possible paternity case.

Miller surrendered and was in custody at 2:13 p.m. PT.

Miller fought for the UFC, Strikeforce and DREAM, unsuccessfully fighting for middleweight titles in the latter two organizations. He hasn’t fought since May 2012. He was most recently arrested in 2013 for charges of domestic violence.
