Since defeating Marcos Maidana for the second time this year on September 14, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been linked to two names-Manny Pacquiao, and Amir Khan. The latter has been pining for a shot at the pound-for-pound king since Fall 2013, but Floyd Mayweather Sr. thinks Khan is biting off more than he can chew.

Khan has constantly said his hand speed is the necessary tool for solving Mayweather's defense, which Mayweather's been able to rack up victories against larger, more powerful punchers. Mayweather Sr. scoffed at that notion, claiming there's more to speed than simply throwing punches quickly.

"Speed is all about timing. It ain't got nothing to do with how fast you are or how fast you throw your punches. If a guy got your timing, you gonna miss him, and if he come back with a punch, you gonna get hit. One thing about all that, he ain't got the mind Floyd got," Mayweather Sr. said.

Khan has also said no one has ever out-boxed him before, and doesn't believe Mayweather would either.

"Oh my God!" Mayweather Sr. said. "Man, lookie here, ain't no way in hell...man, he can't out-think Floyd on Floyd's worst day. I'm here to tell you that I'ma be there and I'ma make sure every time he throw a punch, he gonna get countered. He gonna get punished, believe me."

Mayweather Sr. also made comments about Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach, although he was referring to Roach's time training Khan.

"I didn't get a chance to train him [Khan], so after awhile, they went and got with Freddie 'The Joke Coach' Roach, who wouldn't dare to approach; he's a roach, blowing smoke with no hope. Just like Manny, he went from first class to the coach with the roach, and now he'll be sprayed with Raid and underpaid, and at the end of the night, the title will be gone, just like the roach when the lights come on."
