Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin is questionable for the team's Game 3 matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, according to NBC Sports' "Pro Basketball Talk." Lin played 20 first half minutes on Wednesday before a chest pain forced the Rockets' point guard to leave the game before the third quarter.
Lin missed all of the second half with what the team called a chest contusion, as his status remains uncertain for Game 3. X-Rays were negative and he is hopeful to return, but does not want to do so prematurely as he did in Wednesday night's game, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Houston battled back from a 15-point fourth quarter deficit before eventually falling short to the Thunder in Game 2. The reigning Western Conference champions currently own a 2-0 advantage over the Rockets as the series will continue in Houston.
Game 3 will air live on ESPN at 9:30 p.m. ET
