The Miami Heat took a 2-0 lead in their series with the Milwaukee Bucks after a 98-86 win on Tuesday night. The Heat were led by a strong performance from shooting guard Dwyane Wade, who despite missing time during the final games of the season, looked to be back to his old form.
Wade led all scorers with 21 points, while grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out three assists and taking two steals. Wade played through a knee injury to shoot 8-14 from the floor, while driving to the basket without caution.
LeBron James chipped in 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the win. Chris Bosh added 10 points of his own to go alongside six rebounds.
Miami pulled away from the Bucks at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 12-0 run. The Heat bench were most responsible for the opening surge, with Norris Cole and Chris Andersen scoring 10 of the 12 points.
Game 3 will take place at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET on TNT.
