Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre hasn't given any indication when or if he will fight again, but a report surfaced on Wednesday that "Rush" has already decided to make a comeback. But is it true?

St. Pierre's former manager Stephane Paltry told RDS that he will in fact make a return to the octagon. However, MMAFighting.com is reporting that St. Pierre hasn't made a decision on whether he'll ever fight again.

"Georges has absolutely no return plan [right now]," said his long-time coach and friend Firas Zahabi.

Paltry said that St. Pierre will be opening a gym in Montreal soon, but Zahabi told MMAFighting that it will be mainly a rehabilitation center and not used for mixed martial arts training.

St. Pierre is currently rehabbing a torn left ACL suffered in training. Zahabi revealed earlier this month that "Rush" expects to receive medical clearance to begin MMA training in October.

This past November, St. Pierre defended the UFC welterweight championship for the ninth consecutive time with a split decision win over Johny Hendricks. Following the win he said he needed to take time away from mixed martial arts and vacated the title, but he didn't officially retire.

Meanwhile, the welterweight division is as competitive as it's ever been. Current champion Hendricks will defend his title against Robbie Lawler on Dec. 6 at UFC 181. There is a host of contenders waiting in the wings like Rory MacDonald, Carlos Condit and Matt Brown. UFC President Dana White said St. Pierre would receive an immediate title shot if he chose to return to the UFC.
