Former Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner underwent five surgeries while playing for the Crimson Tide during his collegiate career, league sources told ESPN.com. Milliner is regarded as the top cornerback prospect in Thursday's NFL Draft.

Milliner's surgeries include a right knee scope, sports hernia, right tibias stress fracture and both shoulders. Most recently, Milliner underwent a shoulder procedure in March, which sideline him during the organized team activities of whichever team drafts him. Milliner is not expected to be ready until training camp at the earliest.

"We haven't been able to do the rehab like I want to because I've been going to different teams," Milliner told the Philadelphia Inquirer regarding his most recent surgery. "But once the draft is over, I'll be able to start to rehab it and try to get back on track."

Milliner earned national honors as an All-American, while finishing as a finalist for both the Jim Thorpe and Broko Nagurski Awards during the Tide's second consecutive national championship season. The 6-foot corner ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine.
