The Los Angeles Clippers took a 2-0 advantage in their series with the Memphis Grizzlies with a 93-91 victory at Staples Center on Monday night. Los Angeles escaped thanks to a last second shot from star point guard Chris Paul.

Paul's running jumper over Tony Allen was the decisive basket in a hard fought game between the two teams. "Tony played as good [of] defense as you can," Paul told ESPN. "I looked up at the clock and thought I better get a shot off."

Paul led the Clippers with a team-best 24 points and nine assists to go alongside his four rebounds. The all-star guard also went a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line.

Blake Griffin also played a major role scoring 21 points of his own. He also contributed eight rebounds and four assists during Monday night's win.

The Clippers were able to capture the win despite a strong offensive performance from Grizzlies' point guard Mike Conley. Conley led all scorers with 28 points and dished out nine assists in the Memphis loss.

The series will continue at the FedEx Forum in Memphis on Thursday at 9:30 P.M. ET and will air live on TNT.
