Two clubs in the bottom half of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between West Bromwich Albion and Burnley. West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via the Express and Star): "It was fantastic to build on a really good result at Tottenham and really important that the players who played on Wednesday gave me things to think about. They certainly did that. To a man, they can be really pleased with their performances and they have given me some selection issues to think about."
"They are the right selection issues because I'm looking at a whole load of players who have played well," he added. "It's also great for the mood of the camp because everybody has now played in a winning performance and hopefully, we can now build on that on Sunday in what is a really important game."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Burnley's George Boyd has been the lone bright spot in the club's early season woes. The 28-year-old is averaging seven tackles and 1.5 interceptions per match entering the weekend.
