Green Bay Packers Rumors: Fans Believe Olivia Munn is the Cause of Aaron Rodgers' Struggles [VIDEO]

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers told the fans to relax concerning the teams’ 1-2 start, but now the fans are blaming Rodgers’ girlfriend for the early season struggles.

Packer fans on Twitter have taken up arms toward Olivia Munn, Rodgers’ girlfriend, since the team dropped to 1-2 after a loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Fans have called for Rodgers to dump Munn so the team can improve and some have even tweeted at Munn directly and told her to leave their quarterback alone.

Girlfriends have been a common scapegoat for fans of sports teams as they see them as a source of their teams’ woes. Rodgers and Munn join the likes of Justin Verlander-Kate Upton, Tony Romo-Jessica Simpson and Alex Rodriguez-Cameron Diaz as couples who have been criticized for hindering the athletes’ abilities.

Rodgers said earlier this week that he isn’t worried about the Packers 1-2 start and that it’s too early in the season to panic. Rodgers has thrown for 697 yards, five touchdowns and one interception through three games for Green Bay, but the team has come up short in two of three games.

The Packers look to improve to 2-2 as they travel to Solider Field Sunday to play their NFC North rivals the Chicago Bears.
