A woman told a 911 dispatcher that former Titans kicker Rob Bironas, who died in a one-car accident over the weekend, was attempting to run her off the road driving recklessly before he crashed his SUV on Saturday.
The woman claims that Bironas was driving erratically and was attempting to run her and her husband off the road for no apparent reason. The woman said she did not know Bironas, and thought that he was under impaired.

"He is dangerous, he is drunk or something. He tried to start a fight with us,'' the woman said. "My husband ran down there to see what is going on. I just want to tell the police there is something wrong with him. He is dangerous, he is drunk or he is on drugs. There is something wrong with him. He gave us a mean look. We don't even know him, and he tried to run us off the road.”
Bironas, 36, died Saturday night after he lost control on his SUV in a curve and flipped his vehicle. Police say there was no sign of alcohol or drugs at the scene and that toxicology report results will won't be available for weeks.
Bironas was one of the more accurate kickers in NFL history during his nine seasons with the Tennessee Titans and worked out for the Tampa Bay and Detroit Lions this offseason after being cut by the Tennessee. The Lions plan to sign former Eagles kicker Alex Henery soon.
