Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the fan tried to get to Cena by hopping the barrier while he was greeting fans at ringside after the show went off the air.

According to the report, fans in attendance said they believed the male fan was going after Cena in order to embrace him, not attack him, but he was thwarted off by security. The security guards immediately took the fan down and escorted him to the back.

Cena was reportedly about 10 steps from where the fan jumped the barrier, and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion gave him a high-five as he was being ushered out by security. Cena then went back to greeting the other fans at ringside before departing to officially close out the event.

Cena defeated Orton by DQ after "Mr. Money in the Bank" Seth Rollins and Kane interfered to attack him. Dean Ambrose then made the save after he popped out of the case that usually holds the cinderblocks around ringside and fended off the heels with Cena to end the show.

It is unknown if there was any further punishment to the fan who tried to get at Cena or if he was simply taken out of the arena.
