Two clubs in opposite halves of the Liga BBVA table will do battle today in a league match between Deportivo La Coruña and Real Madrid. The first-division clash scheduled for 10 a.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Riazor in A Coruña and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via Inside Spanish Football): "It's always more difficult playing away than at home. At times, there is criticism at the Bernabéu, as there was last season, but that's only natural to expect. I think we're used to playing in other stadiums like this. We have to change the level of our play and be more consistent. We believe we are going to improve and we are improving."
"I have very good options because Carvajal is available," he added when asked about his selection this weekend. "Along with Arbeloa and Nacho, who played very well against Basel. The only one we don't have is Pepe, who has suffered a pulled muscle."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Replacing the injured Pepe at center-back is Raphael Varane. The 21-year-old has just one substitute appearance for the club, where he finished with three successful defensive actions.
Deportivo La Coruna's Projected Lineup (4-1-4-1): Lux; Luisinho, Lopo, Sidnei, Laure; Bergantinos; Juanfran, Dominguez, Medunjanin, Cuenca; Postiga
