Today at 4:05 p.m. ET, the San Francisco 49ers (1-1) and Arizona Cardinals (2-0) go head-to-head in NFL Week 3 action live from the University of Phoenix in Arizona. The game can be live streamed here. San Francisco fans can hear all of the action on KNBR 1050 while Arizona fans can do the same on Arizona Sports 98.7.

San Francisco comes in off of a 28-20 loss to the Chicago Bears last week while Arizona defeated the New York Giants 25-14 to remain unbeaten thus far.

The Cardinals may turn to Drew Stanton again in Week 3 as he filled in for Carson Palmer against New York last week. Palmer has been dealing with a bruised nerve in his shoulder and may make way for Stanton again.

Stanton threw for 167 yards last week and had no touchdowns or turnovers in his first NFL action since 2010.

"Drew is the starter and Logan [Thomas] is the backup," coach Bruce Arians said via ESPN. "And we'll still be waiting on Carson."

Stanton will likely target Michael Floyd, who leads Arizona with 138 receiving yards on six catches and is still looking for his first touchdown. Andre Ellington has paced the team on the ground with 144 rushing yards on 28 carries, but he has also failed to find the end zone.

Running back Jonathan Dwyer will not play following his arrest on aggravated assault charges.

Colin Kaepernick will try to bounce back from a rough effort in Week 2 where he had four turnovers and was picked off three times.

"I think he was seeing things good," coach Jim Harbaugh said per ESPN. "He threw some pretty darn good balls that got intercepted."

Kaepernick is 37-for-57 for 449 yards with three touchdowns and three picks thus far this season.

He has plenty of options to throw to in Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin, who leads the team with 133 yards on 10 receptions while tight end Vernon Davis (ankle) is questionable.

It could be a busy day for Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson as he'll be assigned to try and stop all of these receivers at different points.

Frank Gore has led the rushing game for San Francisco, carrying the ball 29 times for 129 yards and reaching the end zone once.

The NFL season continues with Week 3 action when the 49ers and Cardinals take the field this afternoon in Arizona.
