Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s road manager Mike Hoag accused Brad Keselowski of cheating in Sunday's race at Chicagoland Speedway. Keselowski won the race to advance to the second round of the Chase to the Sprint Cup.

According to SBNation, Hoag posted a series of since-deleted tweets that insinuated there was something illegal going on with Keselowski's car that helped lead to his win. Associated Press writer Jenna Fryer retweeted one of Hoag's tweets:

NASCAR officials didn't find any violations on Keselowski's car during the post-race inspection but did take the car back to its research center for further evaluation, as is customary each week. If any violations are found, it will be announced Tuesday. Keselowski responded to Hoag on Twitter:

Denny Hamlin Thinks He'd Be a 'Favorite' If He Makes It to Championship Round

Keselowski started the race in the 25th position after qualifying was rained out and the order was determined by practice speeds. The 2012 Sprint Cup champion used a three-wide pass to take the lead with 15 laps to go. With Kevin Harvick and Kyle Larson dueling side by side, Keselowski took a risk and drove right down the middle of them to take control of the race.

It was Keselowski's Sprint Cup Series-leading fifth win of the year. In the new Chase format, four drivers will be eliminated after every third race. Keselowski entered the Chase as the top seed and automatically advanced to the second round with the win, so he doesn't have anything to worry about in the next two races.
