Ronda Rousey has a lot of time on her hands nowadays since she still doesn't have an opponent or date for her next title defense. The UFC women's bantamweight champion indicated she'd be willing to compete in Metamoris, a Brazilian jiujitsu promotion.

But Rousey said it'll depend on her busy schedule and how much the promoters are willing to pay her.

"I'd be happy to do a Metamoris if they paid me as much as they paid me for a UFC fight," Rousey told reporters at UFC Fight Night 51 in Brasilia, Brazil, according to MMAfighting.com. "I don't really have that much time."

Rousey played with the idea of facing elite jiujitsu practitioners earlier this year. Always confident, Rousey believed her judo skills would help her defeat any grappler no matter the practice. Her comments were misconstrued as her comparing judo to jiu-jitsu, which offended many including world jiujitsu champion Bia Mesquita.

"I wasn't saying judo vs. jiujitsu," Rousey said. "I was saying more like, me personally, because I know in generally a jiu-jitsu person is better on the ground. ... All these girls are so offended by me thinking that I'm the best in the world and I can beat them. No one is asking why shouldn't I be offended for them having the same exact opinion."

Rousey wouldn't be the first UFC fighter to compete in Metamoris, as Chael Sonnen, Josh Barnett, Brendan Schaub and others have competed in the jiujitsu promotion recently. Despite her desire to do the same, Rousey said it's hard enough to juggle her MMA and acting careers. Still, she didn't completely shut the door on the idea, saying she'd be willing to do it at some point down the line.

"I would happy to do Metamoris," she said. "I think it would be a really, really cool idea when I'm done fighting, too, because that's one of those sports that are kinder on the joints that you can do for a long time."
