This is a list of notable players who sustained injuries in Week 2, the impact they will have, and who their in-house replacements are. The injuries will be broken down by position.

Quarterbacks

Robert Griffin III

RG3 suffered one of the worst injuries of the day, and anyone watching it happen knew it as soon as he went down. Without being contacted, Griffin crumpled to the ground on the sideline and laid there almost motionless while waiting for help. He was eventually carted off the field with an air cast on his left ankle, which was eventually reported to have been dislocated.

He could miss anywhere between eight weeks and the entire season, so hopefully owners that drafted him also took a solid backup with this possibility in mind.

In house add: Kirk Cousins

Running Backs

Jamaal Charles

In many leagues, Jamaal Charles was the first overall pick. After two weeks, there's a good chance those owners are 0-2. Charles barely touched the football in a Week 1 blowout against the Titans, and left Sunday's contest early with an ankle injury. X-rays on the injured ankle came back negative, so that's a relief, but he isn't out of the woods. SWN can't speculate just yet on if he will miss time, but Charles owners playing in leagues with FAAB should plan on bidding a pretty penny on his backup.

In house add: Knile Davis

Ryan Mathews

Mathews surprised fantasy owners in 2013 with a healthy season, and was highly productive. The Chargers must not have believed in his health though-they signed Donald Brown this offseason, and he came in handy. Mathews was carted off the field on Sunday, and later revealed to have suffered an MCL sprain. The severity hasn't been determined yet, but the worst-case scenario could be an eight-week setback.

In house add: Donald Brown

Knowshon Moreno

Moreno was on his way to proving his doubters wrong, that he wasn't a mere product of Peyton Manning's excellence, and that he was a perfectly viable RB1 despite wearing a new uniform.

Then he reminded fantasy owners everywhere that his career derailed years ago because he couldn't stay on the field. Moreno suffered a dislocated elbow that, if the Dolphins are lucky, will keep him out for a month.

In house add: Damien Williams

Lamar Miller

Miller stands to benefit the most from an extended Moreno injury, but he also left the Bills game late with an apparent lower leg injury. He was able to leave the field under his own power, however, so come Week 3 he will probably be leaned on as an RB2.

In house add: Damien Williams

Wide Receivers

A.J. Green

A.J. Green owners watched their stat trackers in dismay as the man they likely took in the second round of their drafts posted a dash in the scoring column. Green had a toe injury bothering him all week, but issued assurances he would play.

Green did play, but just for a few snaps. He aggravated the toe and was ruled out for the rest of the game fairly quickly. Following the games, it was revealed that his toe wasn't broken and he is hopeful that he can play in Week 3. Keep an eye out for updates though, and have a replacement in mind when the waiver wire processes.

In house add: Mohamed Sanu

DeSean Jackson

Shortly after Robert Griffin III went down in a heap, Jackson joined him in the trainer's room. He went up for a Kirk Cousins pass over the middle that was contested by two defenders. He landed on his shoulder, with one of the defenders on top of him, and left the game with a sprained AC joint.

After the game Jackson said he wasn't in pain, and that he believed he may play in Week 3 against the Eagles, his former team that unceremoniously released him while doing little to fend off allegations of gang affiliations.

In house add: Andre Roberts

Eric Decker

Decker made a big impact early in the Jets' fast start against the Packers Sunday, and finished the day with four catches for 63 yards and a long touchdown. Decker was targeted seven times, and is clearly Geno Smith's favorite option, but he left the contest with a hamstring injury and his status is up in the air.

In house add: Jeremy Kerley

Allen Hurns

Hurns had a bad day. One week after becoming one of the sport's hottest waiver adds, Hurns had a truly embarrassing drop that could've resulted in a touchdown, and then sprained his ankle late in a blowout loss to the Redskins. Hurns needed assistance leaving the field, and is most likely a poor bet to play in Week 3.

In house add: Allen Robinson

Tight Ends

Vernon Davis

Davis was among the many players carted off the field on Sunday, and there's no clear update on his status. What is known is that Davis hurt his ankle, and with their game being the primetime matchup, he'll have less time to recuperate for next week. Plan on picking up a tight end, or using your backup if you've got one rostered.

In house add: Derek Carrier

Marcedes Lewis

Lewis was using crutches after spraining his ankle in a blowout loss to the Redskins, and is most likely out for at least next week's game.

In house add: Clay Harbor
