Two clubs chasing the Apertura Liga MX title will do battle today in a league match between Monterrey and Chivas Guadalajara. Chivas Guadalajara manager Carlos Bustos had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via Univision): "[The victory over Leones Negros] was very important. Above all else, the group worked a majority of the matches searching for a goal and it didn't look as if it was possible that the team would score three goals."
"Undoubtedly, what I always liked is that the team assumes the role of protagonists," he added. "[They] are looking for the results they weren't getting."

Player to Watch: Monterrey's Humberto Suazo remains the club's driving force in the attack. The 33-year-old has two goals and created a club-best 15 chances in six appearances this season.
