Two clubs in the Western Conference of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the Seattle Sounders and Real Salt Lake. The first-division clash scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET will be held at CenturyLink Field in Seattle and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on NBC Sports.
Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via MLS's official website): "It's great to go in with three straight wins because everyone was concerned that we were in a dive or something at that point, and I said 'this isn't last year; it's a different year.' When we start off again with Real Salt Lake, when we have five games in 16 days and those games are going to be in four different cities, that's going to be a good stretch."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Last Saturday marked the return of Alvaro Saborio to the Real Salt Lake lineup. After missing months with an injury, the Costa Rican striker polished off a match-winner on his first touch. In 10 appearances this season, Saborio has five goals and two assists.
