Today at 4:25 p.m. ET, the Houston Texans (1-0) and Oakland Raiders (0-1) take the field live from the O.co Coliseum in Oakland. The game can be live streamed here. Houston fans can hear all of the action on Sports 790 while Oakland fans can do the same on 95.7 The Game.

Houston looks for its second straight win to kick off the campaign after defeating the Washington Redskins 17-6 on opening week while Oakland comes in search of its first victory after falling to the New York Jets 19-14 in Week 1.

Despite losing a key piece of their defense in rookie Jadeveon Clowney, the Texans put up a dominant defensive performance in Week 1 and will look to continue to do so. Clowney had knee surgery this week after departing the team's opener with the injury and is out for four-to-six weeks.

"That's just something you don't want to happen as a rookie, as anybody really," safety D.J. Swearinger said via ESPN. "But as a rookie coming in having a lot of the hype that he has, that's something he doesn't want to happen. I feel his frustration."

The Houston defense is of course still confident as long as JJ Watt is still involved as he started to live up to his $100 million contract that included $51.8 million guaranteed last week by netting a sack and three tackles as he also made other sound defensive plays.

The Raiders are hoping to bounce back from a rough opener that saw the team amass just 158 yards while it only had 25 yards on the ground.

Rookie quarterback Derek Carr -- who beat out ex-Texan Matt Schaub for the No. 1 job -- went 20-for-32 (62.5%) for 151 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions last week.

Carr connected with Rod Streater five times for 46 yards and one touchdown. The rushing game can use some work for Oakland as Darren McFadden had just 15 yards on four carries and Maurice Jones-Drew had nine rushes for just 11 yards. Neither running back reached the end zone.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen saw many areas in which the team can improve.

"I felt like, and still feel like, the line of scrimmage can be a plus for us," Allen told ESPN. "It obviously wasn't in that game and we've got to be better in that area."

The Raiders defense will try to stop Ryan Fitzpatrick as the signal caller went 14-for-22 for 206 yards with a touchdown and no picks last week.

Houston's offensive weapons were in full force in Week 1 as running back Arian Foster rushed for 103 yards on 27 carries and Andre Johnson had six receptions for 93 yards. Neither player, however, reached the end zone.

The Texans look to equal the amount of wins they had in all of 2013 while the Raiders seek their first win of the season when these two teams clash this afternoon at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland.
