The Tennessee Titans were among the biggest surprises in Week 1 of the 2014 season, thrashing the Kansas City Chiefs 26-3 in Arrowhead Stadium. Few have picked the Titans to be much more than an average team this year, but head coach Ken Whisenhunt told reporters they're not motivated by a chip on their shoulders.

"We didn't go in there with the idea 'it's us against the world, nobody's picking us to win," Whisenhunt said. "We went in there with the idea if we play football the way we're supposed to, we're going to win the game."

Jake Locker was a model of efficiency, completing 22-of-33 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns while not turning the ball over. His counterpart this Sunday, Tony Romo, was far less efficient in Week 1.

Romo had a nightmare first half in which he threw three interceptions and finished with just one touchdown pass. The team hasn't lost faith in Romo though; tight end Jason Witten, who caught just two passes in the loss, backed his quarterback up.

"Tony will be fine," Witten said. "He'll bounce back. He's his own worst critic, and he's an elite quarterback."

If Romo is struggling again, the Cowboys at least know they can rely on running back DeMarco Murray, who ran for 118 yards behind one of the NFL's best offensive lines.
