Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. for the episode that's set to air this Friday, Sept. 12 as the company continues to build toward Night of Champions on Sept. 21 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

In the main event of the evening, Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns defeated Randy Orton and Seth Rollins in a tag team match after Jericho blocked a DDT from Orton and rolled him up to get the pinfall victory. The two babyfaces celebrated to end the show.

Tag team matches were a main emphasis on SmackDown as the show opened with an eight-man tag bout that saw Big Show, Mark Henry and The Usos defeat Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Goldust and Stardust.

Henry appeared later on the show to take on Rusev in an International Arm Wrestling Contest. Henry won the original matchup and Rusev called for a rematch, which saw Lana throw powder in Henry's face to enable Rusev to get the win.

Elsewhere on the show, there was another tag team match as Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow while Bo Dallas defeated Justin Gabriel via the Bo-dog while Jack Swagger was at ringside taunting Dallas.

In Divas action, Paige defeated Summer Rae in a non-title match by using AJ Lee's Black Widow. Lee was doing commentary at ringside and Layla was also down by the ring.

This episode of SmackDown continued to build toward Night of Champions and had a heavy emphasis on tag team wrestling.
