Today at 1 p.m. ET, the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers open up their 2014 schedules live from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. The game can be live streamed here. Cleveland fans can hear all of the action on WMMS 100.7 while Pittsburgh fans can do the same on WDVE 102.5.

Mike Pettine takes the reigns to the Browns this season after an offseason overhaul. Cleveland went 4-12 in 2013 and finished in last place in the NFC North, missing the playoffs for the 11th straight season.

Mike Tomlin returns for his eighth season as the head coach of the Steelers after Pittsburgh stumbled out of the gate, but finished with an 8-8 record last year, missing the postseason for the second consecutive year.

The Browns selected Johnny Manziel with their second first round pick in this past May's NFL Draft, but Brian Hoyer will be starting over the former Heisman winner.

"This is Brian's job," Pettine said per ESPN. "I never think of it whether it's a leash or we want a guy to be a game manager. We want him to be confident and go out and play."

Hoyer went 57-for-96 (59.4%) for 615 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions in three games last season for Cleveland.

While Hoyer is starting, Tomlin wouldn't be surprised to see Manziel end up in the game.

"They didn't draft him in the first round to watch," Tomlin told ESPN.

Ben Roethlisberger will have the reigns for Pittsburgh's offense again this season, looking to erase the last two pedestrian years for the team. Roethlisberger went 375-for-584 (64.2%) for 4,261 yards with 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions last season.

The Steelers are looking to put the mediocrity of 2013's 8-8 finish behind them with a clean slate in 2014.

"There is a sense of urgency," receiver Lance Moore said per ESPN. "We know 8-8 is not what this organization is all about. This organization is about competing for championships and we're going to be willing to do whatever it takes to get back to that."

Moore is one of the many new weapons the Steelers have brought in for Roethlisberger. Newcomer and running back LeGarrette Blount and Le'veon Bell will look to put their legal issues aside and spark the team's ground game.

The Browns and Steelers kick off their seasons when they take the field against each other this afternoon live from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
