TNA Wrestling Spoilers: Bobby Lashley Rumored To Lose TNA World Heavyweight Championship At Next Week's Tapings [VIDEO]

Bobby Lashley may not emerge from next week's TNA tapings in Pennsylvania as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Lashley might have the championship taken off of him at next week's television tapings from Bethlehem, Pa. if his Bellator fight doesn't go well.

Lashley was not on the list of names for Bound For Glory on Oct. 12 from the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan because TNA reportedly doesn't want to commit to him until after his fight for Bellator MMA, which is slated for this Friday.

How the fight goes will reportedly factor into TNA's creative plans for Lashley and if things don't go well for him, the company could take the belt off of him next weekend at the television tapings.

It is likely that if all things go well for Lashley in his MMA fight, TNA will keep the title on him and add him to the Bound For Glory event as they are continuing to put the card together for that huge event.

Lashley spoke to MMA Live about his upcoming Bellator fight and said he would like to add more fights in the future.

"I'm signed right now for a handful of fights, and that was before Coker even came on. And now that Coker came on, we'll probably end up doing those fights fairly quickly and renewing it," he told the affiliate. "I don't have too much time left in the game, but while I'm here I want to make a big impact. I don't think the amount of fights that I signed for is going to give me an opportunity to do everything that I want to do, so I'm going to blaze through those fights quickly - maybe every other month if I can stay healthy - then hopefully I can sign on for more and really make a big statement, as I have my last run."

Lashley also was asked if his run as TNA World Heavyweight Champion has been the best of his career.

"I don't know if it would be the best run, because I don't know how you measure that. If you measure it by money, maybe not. If you measure it by fun, maybe so," he said. "I have a great time with MVP and Kenny King. We have a little bit of creative freedom to do what we want to do at times, and I think that things are going well. I think my in-ring ability has improved a lot more."

While Lashley has enjoyed his run on top in TNA, it is possible that it could come to an end as soon as next week.
