Today at 1:10 p.m. ET, the Philadelphia Phillies (62-74) and Atlanta Braves (72-65) open up their three-game set with matinee Labor Day action live from Turner Field in Atlanta. The game can be live streamed for free here. Philadelphia fans can hear all of the action on 1210 WPHT while Atlanta fans can do the same on WCNN 680.

Philadelphia continues a nine-game road trip against National League East rivals after dropping two of three to the New York Mets over the weekend while Atlanta plays the fourth contest of a six-game set after taking two of three from the Miami Marlins over the weekend.

The Braves enter in second place in the National League East, six games behind the Washington Nationals while the Phillies come into Monday in last place in the division, 15.5 games behind the Nats. Atlanta is 1.5 games out of the final NL wild-card spot.

Cole Hamels (7-6, 2.59 ERA) takes the ball for the Phillies while the Braves counter with Julio Teheran, who is 13-9 with a 2.90 ERA.

Coming off of an outing where he gave up one earned run in 6.1 frames against the Mets on Wednesday, Teheran knows that Atlanta needs all the wins it can get to keep pace in the postseason race.

"Every time I go out there, it is an important game for me and my team," Teheran said via MLB.com. "All I try to do is do my best, and I know my teammates are going to do their part."

Teheran faces a Philadelphia lineup that is flanked by centerfielder Ben Revere, who ranks third in the NL with a .308 batting average and 40 stolen bases while also ranking tied for fourth in the NL with 152 hits.

Outfielder Marlon Byrd is fifth in the NL with 25 homers while first baseman Ryan Howard ranks fourth in the league with 86 RBI.

Atlanta responds with a lineup that is flanked by outfielder Justin Upton and first baseman Freddie Freeman.

Upton ranks second in the NL in RBI (91), third in homers (26) and total bases (251), fourth in slugging percentage (.520) and fifth in OPS (.880). Freeman is third in the NL with 37 doubles and fourth with 86 runs, 152 hits and a .386 on-base percentage while leading the Braves with a .291 batting average.

As the summer winds down, two NL East rivals start their September slates with a Labor Day afternoon clash live from Turner Field in Atlanta.
