WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts was hospitalized earlier this week and while there were mixed reports as to what actually happened, Sin Bodhi, who was with Roberts when the medical issues came up, cleared the air.

Bodhi, who was having an event that Roberts was slated to attend, took to his Facebook to discuss Roberts' condition and dispel rumors that he was in a coma.
"UPDATE on Jake The Snake Roberts: Jake is NOT in a coma! Please don't believe crappy gossip... Jake still has [pneumonia,]" Bodhi wrote. "He is not getting enough oxygen so he has been sedated and put on a ventilator... (Sedated only because the procedure is painful). Doctors have to wait & see how he responds before they can continue with MRI & other tests as the Ventilator is inhibiting but [necessary]... And until the [pneumonia] is cleared up it is preventing Docs from seeing what the underlying problems are. Docs can only speculate on how long he will be in this state. #GetBetterJake You can leave Jake Get-well-messages on Twitter @JakeSnakeDDT"

Bodhi also told Bill Apter of 1Wrestling.com what happened to Roberts this week. Bodhi said that Roberts was diagnosed with the flu by his doctors in Atlanta and they told him to sleep it off.
While there were reports that Roberts passed out on the plane, it seemed to be a miscommunication on the part of his good friend Diamond Dallas Page as he didn't pass out on the plane but was unconscious in the ICU due to the treatment he was getting as Bodhi pointed out.
Roberts alerted the flight crew that something was wrong on his way to Las Vegas for Bodhi's event as he experienced shortness of breath and extreme chest tightening which led to the crew contacting an ambulance to take Roberts to the hospital when the plane landed.
Roberts was then rushed to the hospital where it was revealed he had pneumonia in both of his lungs and his lungs had very little function, which he's still being treated for.
Bodhi noted on Twitter that Roberts has been showing signs of recovery.
"Just left hospital.. Docs are doing more tests on @JakeSnakeDDT ... His sense of humor is healthy as horse! #GetBetterJake," Bodhi, who said earlier this week that Roberts was more concerned with disappointing his fans than getting better, tweeted.
Roberts also has a neurologist looking into a mass that was found on his brain which could stem from years of impact he experienced while wrestling. Jake, who had surgery to treat cancer in his leg back in May, received a clean bill of health in a PET scan after the procedure, so his past struggles with drugs and alcohol reportedly have nothing to do with his most recent health scare.
TMZ earlier this week that Roberts' immune system was in bad shape and doctors were still doing more tests.
Wreslingheadlines.com reports that Roberts was moved to another hospital in Las Vegas because the double pneumonia and fluid in his lungs had spread to his other organs and the new hospital was better equipped to treat him. Roberts is reportedly very alert and is stable though he was described as a bit grumpy.
It remains to be seen how this will all play out, but the WWE Hall of Famer is at least alert and on the road to recovery.
