Two clubs in opposite halves of the Liga BBVA table will do battle today in a league match between Real Sociedad and Real Madrid. The first-division clash scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastian and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports.

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via Inside Spanish Football): "I like challenges and I will try to be the best again, as I will also try to win the Champions League with Real Madrid again. I hope Madrid will be the first team in history to win the Champions League twice in a row."

"I will miss all of the good players that have left," he added when asked about former players that have departed from the Santiago Bernabeu. "[Angel] Di María and [Xabi] Alonso. The president [Florentino Perez] knows what he does better than anyone, and here we have great players to try to continue winning."

Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates can lend authenticity to those claims with a victory on the road this afternoon.

Real Sociedad's Projected Lineup (4-1-4-1): Zubikarai; Bella, Elustondo, Martinez, Martinez; Bergara; Pardo, Castro, Canales, Prieto; Agirretxe

Real Madrid's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Casillas; Marcelo, Ramos, Pepe, Carvajal; Kroos, Modric, James; Isco, Benzema, Bale
