Two clubs chasing the 2014-15 Serie A title will do battle today in a league match between AS Roma and Fiorentina. The first-division clash scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET will be held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports.
AS Roma manager Rudi Garcia had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via Football Italia): "I've read lots of things since the start of preseason, from euphoria, as if we'd already won, to negative things. But our main aim is to enjoy ourselves when we play and make sure the fans enjoy themselves too. At the moment we're just thinking about beating Fiorentina, then we'll move on to [the next League game against] Empoli and the Champions League."
"We have a marathon to run this year," he added. "My players are ready. They can't wait to start and get stuck into the competitive matches."
With the first competitive match coming against a formidable Fiorentina side, Roma will need to be prepared to avoid an opening stumble.
