The WWE will release The Best of Sting on Sept. 23 on DVD and Blu-ray and WrestlingDVDNews.com has leaked the intro prior to the release.

Sting is a former WCW and TNA icon, but he has never set foot in a WWE ring. There is a feeling that it will change soon as Sting has joined the WWE family and has been very open about wanting one final match in his career - and his first in the WWE.

Sting reportedly was hoping to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX this past April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, but the WWE chose to go with Brock Lesnar instead. Lesnar defeated The Undertaker and ended The Streak and possibly his career, but it remains to be seen if 'Taker will return.

There were reports that Sting was eager to work with 'Taker at the milestone event, but the WWE dragged its feet in signing him and saw it as a low priority. It was then said after the event that Sting had a physical talent contract at his house but for some reason was slow to sign it.

Sting worked out a deal with 2K Sports to appear as a playable character as "Surfer Sting" and "Black and White Sting" for those who pre-order the WWE 2K15 videogame that is due out in October. Sting also inked a deal with Mattel for an action figure while the WWE started to sell his merchandise.

Sting is hopeful to have one final match and he listed The Undertaker and Triple H as possible opponents.

It is likely that a Sting match will take place at WrestleMania 31 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on March 29, 2015, but it remains to be seen if it will happen. There have been rumors that Sting will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015, but that is also up in the air.

Sting spoke with the Orlando Sentinel about wanting to have one more match and hoping to have it with The Undertaker.

"I do believe I have enough left in my tank for one more match and I would love for that match to be against Undertaker," Sting said. "If that can't happen, Triple H, I think. I just would like to have one more match. I would love to say I had one match under the WWE banner and, of course, WrestleMania. Who wouldn't want to say that they wrestled at WrestleMania at least one time?"

It remains to be seen when and where a potential Sting match will happen, but he is open to an in-ring return and his DVD will be released on Sept. 23.
