Two clubs chasing qualification for the UEFA Europa League will do battle today in a match between Villarreal and Astana. The playoff scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET will be held at El Madrigal Stadium in Villarreal and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN Deportes.
Villarreal manager Marcelino Garcia had this to offer ahead of today's European qualifier (via Inside Spanish Football): "We're not going to go into this game with any sense of tranquillity. We had a good first game, but to get through the tie you must have two good games. We have to avoid letting ourselves believe we're already through and ensure we confront the game without being over-confident."
"If you don't face games in the right mood and with intensity, that's where problems can arise and make things complicated," he added. "Once that happens, it's difficult to change things."
"The players must be ambitious, they must want to win and demonstrate that they're the better side. What we can't afford to think about is the result from the first-leg. If we do that, I'm sure it won't be a good game for us."
