With TNA Impact Wrestling's status beyond 2014 in limbo, the company has reportedly received an offer from another network just as Bully Ray's contract has expired.

Two More Title Matches Possible For Night of Champions

Spike TV originally had announced that it was dropping Impact Wrestling from its schedule in October when their deal ran out, but the network recently confirmed that it will keep TNA on through the end of 2014 and move it to Wednesday nights as the promotion shops for other networks to pick it up.

With the WWE revealing that SmackDown will be moving back to Thursday nights in the fall, Impact is likely to be a Wednesday night mainstay.

Daniel Bryan Unlikely To Wrestle On WWE's European Tour In November

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Discovery Network's VELOCITY has offered TNA a deal to become the new home of Impact Wrestling. According to the report, the network is only available in 48 million homes and can only be accessed in high definition.

While the fact that there is an offer could be seen as good news for the company, the rights fee that VELOCITY would pay TNA to host Impact is less than a quarter of what TNA is currently getting from Spike TV. The deal may not be worth it for the company if it doesn't find another revenue stream.

According to the report, TNA officials are relieved that they have another offer on the table, but are disappointed about what the offer actually entails, so a move could be unlikely unless they have no other offers come the end of 2014.

The company is hopeful that this first offer will lead to other networks offering them a new home outside of Spike, which is looking to drop professional wrestling entirely from its schedule in 2015.

It has been reported that TNA was not going to renew the company's top-tier talent contracts until a new television deal is made. Bully Ray is the first of what could be many upper-level talents to leave TNA as his contract officially expired this week.

Bully Ray revealed last weekend that he was leaving TNA and he said his goodbyes while leaving the impression that he wouldn't be returning.

Bully Ray and Velvet Sky, who has also been linked to leaving TNA, took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together recently.
