"Stone Cold" Steve Austin could be stomping a mudhole and walking it dry on the WWE in 2016 as he teased a return to the squared circle at WrestleMania 32 when the biggest event of the year comes to his former home state of Texas.

Update On Potential Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns Match At WM 31

The WWE Hall of Famer was asked by PWTorch in a recent interview about a return to the ring and seemed to tease a comeback in 2016 for WrestleMania 32.

"I'll reserve my right to if I want to have another match down the road - say, like, Dallas, Texas is going to be [WrestleMania 32]. Now, 31 [on March 29, 2015 in Santa Clara, Calif.] is right down the road from me. That could be doable, but I don't see it happening. Now, Dallas, that could be very special going back to Texas for 32. They're going to need a loaded card to fill that house. So, I'll reserve my right. But, am I pushing, pandering, selling, promoting? Nothing."

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview

Austin, a Victoria, TX native who now resides in Los Angeles, Calif., hasn't appeared in a match since WrestleMania XIX in 2003 when he wrestled Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in their third and final encounter at the Show of Shows, a match in which Austin lost.

This is the first time Austin has acknowledged a desire to return to the ring as he said in the past that it would be too much work for him to get ready to come back for just a one-match blow off. He has appeared sporadically in non-wrestling roles over the last 11 years for the WWE.

Austin isn't the only wrestling legend looking for a return to the ring as Hulk Hogan, 61, recently said that he wants to have one final match in the WWE at WrestleMania 31, listing John Cena and Austin as his potential opponents.

Steve "Sting' Borden, 55, has also suggested he'd love to have his final match -- and first in WWE -- against The Undertaker or Triple H at WrestleMania 31. While Austin's sights are set on WrestleMania 32, a potential match between Austin and Hogan or Austin and Sting could very well happen down the line.

Austin, the pioneer of the WWE's Attitude era and part of the reason the company ended up winning The Monday Night Wars with WCW, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 as a six-time WWE Champion.

Austin, 49, could have one final can of whoopa-- left and he may unleash it in what could be his final match at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas in 2016.
