The U.S. Open kicks off Monday and will run through the final on September 8. The men’s side of the draw will be very competitive, but will certainly miss the World’s No. 2 player Rafael Nadal.

The defending champ was forced to withdraw from the U.S. Open due to a wrist injury that has plagued him for the past few weeks. Nadal will be the first U.S. Open champ to not defend his title in recent history, but his absence opens the door for the likes of No. 1 Novak Djokovic and No. 2 Roger Federer.

Look for all the top players in the field to advance to the second round of the tournament.
